Thyssen Krupp Accessibility

Thyssen Krupp Accessibility develops and distributes stairlifts. I helped Spark Design and Innovation with the engineering of the plastic parts. I was responsible for the engineering of the armrests, part of the seat and part of the footrest panels. I integrated the electronics in the armrest and executed finite element analysis on the parts to predict if the armrests would be strong enough and would fullfill the strong demands that are tested during the certification of the stairlift.
