Quintall (ALTech)
For Altech BV I ‘reversed engineered’ a machine that can be used for harvesting roses and automatically feeding them into existing sorting systems. Altech already developed several prototypes for this, all developed inhouse but without making any technical drawings or collecting technical information of its components. To be able to rebuilt the prototype in series, determine its cost price and to be able to get a CE approval for the machine I made a complete assembly in 3D CAD (over 7000 parts!) and made the 2D technical drawings of every custom made component and (sub) assemblies.
Together with Marc Platschorre (see www.designedbymarc.com) I made several proposals to transform the existing prototype into a real, commercially interesting machine.
